‘Kartavya Path’ Celebrates Delhi Police’s Courage, Dedication and Service; Tribute Paid to Martyrs
New Delhi: The India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) and Media24x7 jointly organized the ‘Kartavya Path – Police Honors & Cultural Evening’ at the B.S. Abdur Rahman Auditorium, IICC, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, celebrating the spirit of dedication, public service and sacrifice.
The program paid a solemn tribute to the martyrs of the Delhi Police and honored police officers, social workers, academicians, entrepreneurs, journalists and eminent personalities from different walks of life for their remarkable contributions to society.
The Chief Guest, former Union Minister, senior advocate and President of IICC Salman Khurshid, said that the Delhi Police is not just an agency responsible for maintaining law and order but a dependable institution that stands with citizens during every challenge. He highlighted that the discipline, courage and commitment of police personnel are a source of inspiration for society.
The event was attended by Padma Shri Prof. Akhtarul Wasey, Padma Shri Dr. Mohsin Wali, and Additional CP Rajendra Singh Sagar of Delhi Police, among other distinguished guests. During the interaction, police officers shared their experiences from their professional journey and emphasized that modern policing goes beyond controlling crime. They said that the true objective of policing can only be achieved through public trust, cooperation and active participation of citizens.
Conducting the proceedings of the program, Media24x7 Group Editor Maroof Raza said that the police force represents one of the strongest pillars protecting social harmony, public security and democratic values. He added that platforms like ‘Kartavya Path’ help create meaningful dialogue, strengthen trust and build greater cooperation between citizens and law enforcement agencies.
The ceremony also recognized outstanding contributions by police officers and personalities from various fields. The dignitaries were honored with bouquets and shawls as a mark of appreciation for their dedicated services.
The cultural segment remained one of the major highlights of the evening. Patriotic songs and colorful performances created an atmosphere of pride and celebration, while Additional CP Rajendra Singh Sagar and Inspector Ram Manohar received widespread appreciation for their musical performances.
