NEW DELHI :/The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD),  held a Grand function in New Delhi. Ms. Anita Chauhan has formally taken over as the National President of India’s premier training provider, the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), in a memorable function on Saturday .

Belonging to a small town of Kota in the southeast of Northern Indian state of Rajasthan . Ms. Anita is a dynamic professional with a rich & extensive experience of 18 years in the field of Education, Strategic Planning and Coaching.

Earlier she held the position of Regional Vice President (North), ISTD and Chairperson of Kota Chapter of ISTD. She has studied Sociology & Public Administration and has worked in corporates like Reliance Life Insurance Company Ltd. as well as Bajaj Allianz Life.

The other office bearers who have taken over are Mr. Prof N Sambasiva Rao, National Vice President, Mr. Shri Nabaghana Pany, National Treasurer, Mrs. Usha Jain, Regional Vice President (North), Mr. Pramod Kumar Sahoo, Regional Vice President (East), Ms. Rajalakshmi Subramanian, Regional Vice President (South) and Mr. Atul Bipin Shah, Regional Vice President (West).

Headquartered in New Delhi, ISTD’s current activities include 18-month long Post Graduate Diploma in Training & Development, innovative training practices award, management development programmes, international conference, memorial lectures, Skill Development, Indian Journal of Training & Development etc.

In her briefing with the media, she informed that during her 2-years tenure she intends to take ISTD to the new heights with the introduction programmes for youth, start-ups and entrepreneurs in collaboration with NSDC wherein ISTD will be the implementing Society for the conduct of the short courses at a nominal fee.

Apart from focusing on corporates, she underlined the need for involvement of schools and colleges in disseminating education among the underprivileged strata of society with the help of organisations like BOSCH.

The pace of changes in the environment is so fast that the skill gap is increasing with each passing day.  This needs to be circumscribed only with continuous learning, re-skilling and upskilling.  Now a days, the hiring is based on the skills rather than qualification and remaining relevant to the organisation is a challenge for the employees.

She sought the support and guidance of Past Presidents, 203 National Council members and 10000 ISTD members across the country in her endeavour to revamping the existing activities and introducing new courses and initiatives in blended format during her tenure 2022-2024 in line with the National Education Policy.

सुश्री अनीता चौहान ने आज नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक भव्य समारोह में औपचारिक रूप से भारत के प्रमुख प्रशिक्षण प्रदाता, इंडियन सोसाइटी फॉर ट्रेनिंग एंड डेवलपमेंट (आईएसटीडी) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला। उत्तरी भारतीय राज्य राजस्थान के दक्षिण-पूर्व में कोटा के एक छोटे से शहर से ताल्लुक रखने वाली सुश्री अनीता शिक्षा, रणनीतिक योजना और कोचिंग के क्षेत्र में 18 वर्षों के समृद्ध और व्यापक अनुभव के साथ एक गतिशील पेशेवर हैं। इससे पहले वह क्षेत्रीय उपाध्यक्ष (उत्तर), आईएसटीडी और आईएसटीडी के कोटा चैप्टर की चेयरपर्सन का पद संभाल चुकी थीं। उन्होंने समाजशास्त्र और लोक प्रशासन का अध्ययन किया है और रिलायंस लाइफ इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड के साथ-साथ बजाज आलियांज लाइफ जैसे कॉर्पोरेट्स में काम किया है।

जिन अन्य पदाधिकारियों ने पदभार संभाला है, वे हैं श्री प्रो एन संबाशिव राव, राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष, श्री श्री नबघना पानी, राष्ट्रीय कोषाध्यक्ष, श्रीमती उषा जैन, क्षेत्रीय उपाध्यक्ष (उत्तर), श्री प्रमोद कुमार साहू, क्षेत्रीय उपाध्यक्ष (पूर्व), सुश्री राजलक्ष्मी सुब्रमण्यम, क्षेत्रीय उपाध्यक्ष (दक्षिण) और श्री अतुल बिपिन शाह, क्षेत्रीय उपाध्यक्ष (पश्चिम)। नई दिल्ली में मुख्यालय, ISTD की वर्तमान गतिविधियों में प्रशिक्षण और विकास में 18 महीने का पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिप्लोमा, नवीन प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास पुरस्कार, प्रबंधन विकास कार्यक्रम, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन, स्मारक व्याख्यान, कौशल विकास, प्रशिक्षण और विकास के भारतीय जर्नल आदि शामिल हैं।

मीडिया के साथ अपनी ब्रीफिंग में, उन्होंने बताया कि अपने 2 साल के कार्यकाल के दौरान वह एनएसडीसी के सहयोग से युवाओं, स्टार्ट-अप्स और उद्यमियों के लिए परिचय कार्यक्रमों के साथ आईएसटीडी को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाने का इरादा रखती हैं, जिसमें आईएसटीडी कार्यान्वयन सोसायटी होगी। मामूली शुल्क पर लघु पाठ्यक्रमों का संचालन। कॉरपोरेट्स पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के अलावा, उन्होंने बॉश जैसे संगठनों की मदद से समाज के वंचित तबके के बीच शिक्षा के प्रसार में स्कूलों और कॉलेजों की भागीदारी की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया। पर्यावरण में बदलाव की गति इतनी तेज है कि हर बीतते दिन के साथ स्किल गैप बढ़ता जा रहा है। इसे केवल निरंतर सीखने, री-स्किलिंग और अपस्किलिंग के साथ सीमित करने की आवश्यकता है। आजकल, भर्ती योग्यता के बजाय कौशल पर आधारित होती है और संगठन के लिए प्रासंगिक बने रहना कर्मचारियों के लिए एक चुनौती है।

उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा के अनुरूप अपने कार्यकाल 2022-2024 के दौरान मौजूदा गतिविधियों में सुधार करने और मिश्रित प्रारूप में नए पाठ्यक्रम और पहल शुरू करने के अपने प्रयास में देश भर में पूर्व अध्यक्षों, 203 राष्ट्रीय परिषद के सदस्यों और 10000 आईएसटीडी सदस्यों के समर्थन और मार्गदर्शन की मांग की l
