JUH national executive meet adopts resolution on civilian killing in Kashmir also will fight Muslim Personel Laws cases in SC

New Delhi September 29, 2016:-

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind national executive meeting chaired by Maulana Usman Mansoopuri, its national president has decided to fight cases in the Supreme Court pertaining to the Muslim personal laws. Initially, the national executive sanctioned 75 lakhs rupees for legal expenses. Misrepresentation and misunderstanding about the Muslim family law has triggered negativity and wide public and media discussion.  Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has been working to counter this negative movement since the beginning. To educate and train the lawyers, it has already started training courses whose inaugural event took place in early of the month. Now, apart from fighting the case in the court, Jamiat national executive has also decided to organize woman conferences in Kolkata, Kanpur and Hyderabad to impress upon that Muslim women are not against the Sharia Law.

  The National executive also discussed agenda of the upcoming 33rd general session of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind to be held on November 11, 12 at Ajmer Shariff. The Much talked about general session will cover issues such as protection of Muslim personal laws, introduction of Communal Violence Bill, new education policy of the central government and imposing of particular religious practices in the schools and mechanism for promoting national harmony and condemnation of growing impact of terrorism, reservation for the Muslims, social reforms in the light Islamic teachings, etc.

The members of the working committee also expressed their deep concern over prevailing anarchy, violation of human rights, killing of civilians and blinding of youth by pellet guns.  The national executive demanded to constitute an inquiry committee to punish the guilty officials and ban the uses of pellet guns with immediate effect. The national executive exhorted the central government to repeal AFSPA and institute a broad-based inquiry into extrajudicial killings in Kashmir, and open a result-oriented dialogue with the Valley’s stakeholders to discuss the larger political questions. If the Indian state could strike a peace deal with the Naga insurgents, why not Kashmir, which is even more central to India’s national security? The resolution reads.

Besides Jamiat President Maulana Usman Mansoorpuri other important members who attended the meeting  include Maulana Mahmood Madani, JUH national General secretary,  Maulana Hayatullah Qasmi, Mufti Salma Mansurpuri, Maulana Siddiqullah Chaudhry W Bengal, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal Assam, Maulana shaukat Ali, Shakil Ahmad Sayed, Maulana Haseeb Siddiqi, Mufti Jawed Iqbala Qasmi, Sayed Sirajuddin, Ajmer, Hafiz Peer Shabbir,Maulana Matinul Haque Osama, Mufti Iftikhar Ahma , Maulana Niaz Ahmad Ahmad Farooqi, Maulana Rafiq Mazahiri, Mufti Rashid Azmi, Dr. Islamuddin, Haji Harun Bhopal, , Maulana Ali Hasan Mazahiri, Qari Mohammad Ameen, Rajasthan, Maulana Mahbub Hasan,Mufti Ahmad Deola, Dr. Saiduddin Qasmi, Maulana Gulam Qadir, Abdul Qadir, Dr. Masud, Maulana Hafiz Basher, Assam, Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi and Maulana Moizuddin Qasmi etc.
