Bhupendra Patel sworn-in as chief minister of Gujarat

BJP MLA from Ghatlodiya seat Mr. Bhupendra Patel has been sworn-in as the chief minister of Gujarat. Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath of office to him at Rajbhavan today. Senior BJP leaders including Union Home and Co-operative Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Khattar among others were on stage during the oath-taking ceremony.

AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that soon after taking the oath as a 17th Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Patel pater went to Chief Minister’s Office and took the charge.
