JUH to build 100 fresh houses for

Kerala flood victims 

New Delhi, October, 10, 2018:- A delegation of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind headed by Maulana Mahmood Madani, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind visited flood affected areas of Kerala on Monday.

On this occasion, Mahmood Madani laid the foundation stone for construction of houses for flood victims in Ernakulum. He also announced that during the first phase of rehabilitation work, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind will construct 100 houses and will get 100 old houses repaired for the most needy persons.

Maulana also noted that until now JUH has spent more than five crore rupees for the relief and rehabilitation work which benefitted more than twenty five thousand affected families.

During his visit, he said that JUH has not done any favor upon any one, but Allah almighty has given its cadres an opportunity to serve humanity in distress. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude for the people who accepted JUH services meant for them.

Maulana Madani also underlined that acceptance of our services by Allah Almighty does not depend upon big quantum of work but our sincerity plays effective role in this regard. It’s a characteristic of a true Muslim to come forward helping any person in need and distress.

Jamiat has made a mark for serving humanity without any distinction of religion,  caste and race etc.  He also stressed the need for serving widow and handicapped persons on priority basis.

He also distributed sewing machines to widows in Tuwrat and presented 3.5 lakh rupees to nine needy persons to restart their small scale business.

 The delegation included Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi, Maulana Sufyan Qasmi Convenor JUH relief committee, Maulana Ibraheem, Maulana Zakariya, Maulana Shafiq Qasmi JUH Organiser and other Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu JUH functionaries.
