Yogi Aditya Nath will be new CM of Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh five times MP from Gorakhpur fire brand Swami Yogi Aditya Nath will be new Chief Minister of the state. His name was unanimously decided as leader of the state legislature party in the meeting of newly elected MLAs held at Lok Bhawan a short while ago. Both the central observers of the party, senior party leader and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and national general secretary Bhupender Yadav were present at the meeting.

Yogi Aditya Nath was elected to the Lok Sabha first time in 1998 from Gorakhpur in the age of 26 years. His real name is Ajay Singh Bisht and he is science graduate from Garhwal University. Born in 1972 in a village in Uttarakhand, he belongs to famous religious centre Goraksh Nath math based at Gorakhpur.

UP BJP President Keshav Prasad Maurya and Party`s national vice president Dinesh Sharma will be Dy CM in new cabinet. Bharatiya Janata Party-lead new Cabinet will sworn in tomorrow. Swearing-in function will be held at Kanshiram memorial ground in the afternoon.

Announcing the decision of Yogi’s election, senior BJP leader and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said that this was a watershed moment for BJP and it has become a common man’s party. He said that mandate is for development, and against corruption and black money. This mandate is against caste politics, religous politics and vote bank politics, he said, noting that all the five regions in UP and all communities had overwhelmingly voted for the party.
