20th Anniversary of Sarita Vihar  Harit Kranti  celebrated  at community centre, Sarita Vihar

सरिता विहार हरित क्रांति संस्था ने 20वीं वर्षगाँठ मनाई !

On completion of 20 years of selfless services for providing Clean and Green ambience to the residents of Sarita Vihar , a South Delhi colony under MCD  started a Clean and Green  Movement under the banner “SARITA VIHAR HARIT KRANTI (SHK)”  in March, 2003.

All civic authorities (DDA, MCD, DJB, PWD & BSES) extended whole hearted support .  A   team of just 12 members ,  initiated  activities such as cleaning , developing & maintenance of Parks.  In its journey of 20 years  SHK has been instrumental in development of arround 66 parks which are now making the whole of Sarita Vihar a proud green colony and the respective RWAs are now taking due care of these . These first steps by Harit kranti were much appreciated and due to these today Sarita Vijar is one of the most green colony of Delhi.

The Playfields concept was introduced   in July, 2003 so that the children of the Colony and neighbouring colonies can play freely without damaging the Ornamental Parks. This  Mission was supported by the Govt of NCR Delhi and SHK was  awarded Bhagidari Award in 2010. Sarita Vihar was further honored by the Chief Minister of NCR Delhi by declaring Sarita Vihar as the best GREEN colony of Delhi.

There are now 55 active members and, as per the Mission,  only limited  like minded  persons with positive attitudes are selected as members. 
Now work has started  on plan for making Sarita Vihar a Model Colony which will become a Model for transforming Delhi into a WORLD CLASS CITY.

On this occasion President JS Saluja and Vice President  Ashutosh Mohendra welcomed all the invitees and guests .

 District Magistrate  Arun Mishra , Padam shree and renowned poet  Ashok Chakradhar ,  Noida film city Patron & Marwah Studio Chairman  Dr Sandeep Marwah Wing Cmdr.  P Bakshi , Area Councillor Mrs Neetu Chaudhary , Youth leader  Manish Chaudhary, Environmentalist Mrs Malti Goel  graced the ocassion and also delivered lectures on the topic .

During the discussion, all the achievements of Harit kranti over last 20 years were appreciated .  The main Challenges of environment , Pollution control and Role of indian army in clean and green India were discussed and debated . Sh Batra of NHPC also elaborated Indian Govt. initiative in solar and hydrogen energy .

Ashutosh Mohendra Vice President thanked Sh SC khanna Secretary Harit kranti , Sh Hardeep Chaudhary , Sh KP Sharma , Mrs Shashi Kulkarni and Mrs Rajani Saluja .Role of Sh Ramesh Bhandari Secretary Federation of Sarita Vihar was marked with huge appreciation . Neetu Chaudhary and Maneesh Chudhary  assured of full cooperation to Harit Kranti in all initiatives.

Sh Ashutosh Mohendra, on the occasion of 20th year of Harit kranti  called for  taking  care of all the unhealthy trees of Sarita Vihar. He  vowed to ensure that all these trees with the help of Horticulture deptt shall be taken care of and instead of cause of accidents or damage to inhabitants of Sarita Vihar these would be turned into truest guards, protecting  the nature to  the fullest.

In this endeavour support from all govt departments shall be taken so that the long standing demands of Senior citizens of Sarita Vihar is met.

Mr Saluja JS President who had steered Harit kranti to this height also endorsed the same.The programme  concluded  with distribution of awards by Sh Ramesh Bhandari , Sh S C khanna , Sh Hardeep Chaudhary and Sh Ashutosh Mohendra to the dedicated work force of DDA , MCD , Horticulture deptt and Police .

इस अवसर पर संस्था के अध्यक्ष जे एस सलूजा और उपाध्यक्ष आशुतोष मोहिंद्र ने सभी मेहमानों का स्वागत किया ।

हरित क्रांति सरिता विहार का प्रारंभ २००३ में हुआ था . संस्था ने इन 20 वर्षों में सरिता विहार को Ideal Society बनाने में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई . KHSV संस्था ने पूरे सरिता विहार में 66 पार्क विकसित किये . संस्था के इस क़दम को दिल्ली सर्कार और नगर निगम ने बार बार सराहा है . इस प्रयत्न से आज सरिता विहार दिल्ली की सबसे हरित कॉलोनियों में एक है ।

आयोजन का प्रारम्भ श्रीमती मोंगा की प्रकृति वंदना गान से हुआ । आयोजन में डिस्ट्रिक्ट मजिस्ट्रेट श्रीं अरुण मिश्रा , पद्मश्री अशोक चक्रधर ,नोएडा फ़िल्म सिटी के संस्थापक डॉ संदीप मारवाह , विंग कमांडर पी बख्शी ,एरिया काउन्सलर नीतू चौधरी , मनीष चौधरी , Environmentalist मालती गोयल इत्यादि ने इस अवसर पर अपने अनुभव साझा किये तथा पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ बनाने के लिए हर एक को अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी की भी याद दिलाई .

कार्यक्रम में हरित क्रांति के कार्यों की समीक्षा की गयी और पर्यावरण के मुख्य चैलेंजेस पर वक्तव्य दिए गए ! एनएचपीसी के SH Batra ने ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन और सोलर एनर्जी पर अग्रसर भारत का व्याखाएँ किया ।
आशुतोष नें हरित क्रांति में सर्वश्रेष्ठ SC khanna , हरदीप छुधार्य , KP शर्मा , मिसेज़ शशि कुलकर्णी और रजनी सलूजा के योगदान को सराहा । श्री रमेश भंडारी फेडरेशन के प्रभारी के योगदान को भी अंकित किया गया ।

एरिया Councelor नीतू चौधरी और मनीष चौधरी ने अपना पूरा सहयोग देने का वायदा किया !

SHK उपाध्यक्ष आशुतोष महेंद्र ने शपथ ली की हरित क्रांति मरते वृक्षों का सरंक्षण कर सारे सरिता बिहार में गिर रहे पेड़ को फिर से मज़बूत करेंगे . अब तक असंभव मानी जाने वाली इस कार्रवाई में हार्टिकल्चर विभाग का पूरा सहयोग मिलने की आशा जताई गयी । इस प्रक्रिया से एरिया के सीनियर सिटीजन की बहुत पुरानी डिमांड भी पूरी होगी और पेड़ की प्रतिष्ठा प्रकृति में रक्षक के रूप में सत्यापित होगी . SHK अध्यक्ष श्री सलूजा ने भी इस कार्य का समर्थन किया ।

इस अवसर पर श्री रमेश भंडारी ,श्री एस सी खन्ना ,श्रींआशुतोष और श्रीहरदीप चौधरी द्वारा डीडीए ,एमसीडी ,पुलिस और हार्टिकल्चर के कार्यरत कर्मचारियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया . सरिता विहार हरित क्रांति संस्था के 20 वीं वर्षगाँठ के अवसर पर एक Sovenir (यादगार पत्रिका ) का भी विमोचन किया गया .
