Greta Thunberg Among 171 Deported Gaza Flotilla Participants

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was deported from Israel earlier today after spending several days in custody for her involvement in the Gaza aid flotilla, according to the Israeli foreign ministry.

In a statement posted on X, the ministry confirmed that 171 participants of the flotilla were deported. A photograph shared with the post showed Thunberg dressed in a white T-shirt and grey sweatpants, walking alongside other detainees at the airport.

The report said that the deported activists were nationals of several countries, including Greece, Italy, France, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Switzerland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and the United States.
