New Delhi: To Promote People to People Friendship between India & Palestine, Senior Indian BJP Leader & President Delhi Study Group Vijay Jolly today departed for Ramallah, Palestine.Indian Leader Jolly shall attend the Seventh Congress of Palestinian National Liberation Movement – FATEH in Ramallah from 27th to 30th Nov 2016.
The Congress shall debate Palestine political reforms, their national structural programs, organizational issues and elect the Palestinian party leadership.Vijay Jolly shall participate in the International Workshop. He shall meet & greet the office bearers of Palestinian National Liberation Movement in Ramallah.
Earlier Union Minister for External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj had visited Palestine this year on 17th Jan 2016. She had reiterated India’s support to the Palestine cause for the establishment of a sovereign, independent & democratic Palestinian State.
Recently Union State Minister of External Affairs M.J. Akbar paid a two day visit to Palestine. He co-chaired the First Joint Commission Meeting between India & Palestine on 8th & 9th Nov 2016 where closer co-operation in the field of Economy, Energy, Tourism, Agriculture, Water, Environment, Education, Health, IT, Sports, Culture & Media were discussed & concluded.
