Telangana Freedom Fighter Dr. Jan Nisar Moin submitted a memorandum through mail on behalf of writers, researchers, critics, and respected users
By Dr. Jan Nisar Moin
Telangana State Urdu Academy is an autonomous institution. It works under the Ministry of Minority Welfare Government of Telangana. Its main objective is to develop and promote the Urdu language, literature, and culture.
Urdu Academy is an important platform for Urdu students, researchers, and writers. However, it is a matter of regret that this noble objective is being severely affected due to the laziness, laziness, and administrative shortcomings of the Urdu academy.
The official website of the Urdu academy (https://urduacademyts.com/) has been closed due to the expiry of the posting period.
In this regard, Telangana Freedom Fighter Dr. Jan Nisar Moin submitted a memorandum through mail on behalf of writers, researchers, critics, and respected users because this problem is not merely a technical nature.
Still, it is clear evidence of the administrative negligence and incompetence of the academy.
This unfortunate situation has deprived people interested in the Urdu language, and literature of valuable cause of information.
We are demanding that the Telangana Government of Minority Welfare is to restore the website immediately by paying the fee before March 15.
The website remaining inactive for a long time can lead to the loss of valuable academic and research material.
Web hosting companies permanently delete the data of unpaid accounts after a specified period, which can permanently destroy rare material and important information related to Urdu literature, research, and culture.
The domain of the website (urduacademyts.com) may also be registered in the name of someone else, which will be very difficult and expensive to get back.
Therefore, it is necessary to restore the website immediately by paying the fee, and to avoid such problems in the future, an effective payment system should be developed so that the website remains active permanently.
A systematic system should be established for effective communication with the authors and users so that their suggestions and complaints can be heard and resolved promptly.
The magazines should be published online regularly every month so that maximum readers can benefit from them.
The authors should be informed in time whether their articles are worthy of publication or not so that they can improve their writing.
Despite contacting the Academy’s email address (info@urduacademyts.com) several times, no response has been given to the authors. Even if the editor is contacted, a copy of the article is requested in Urdu Inpage software.
This is the era of artificial intelligence. Unicode is accepted worldwide in the Word format.
In such a case, elderly writers, women, and People with disabilities are often unable to get their work published.
This attitude discourages the authors. Mostly with this display of irresponsibility. Due to this incompetence, the Academy appears to unaware of its responsibilities in promoting Urdu literature.
Suggestions for improvement: An effective complaint cell should be established that would promptly address the concerns of users and writers.
A qualified IT team should be appointed to ensure timely website maintenance and prompt resolution of technical issues.
Transparency and accountability should be ensured in all the affairs of the academy.
We request to pay immediate attention to this matter, take strict notice of the administrative incompetence of the Telangana State Urdu Academy, and implement the above-mentioned measures.
