G20: Two-day Labour Engagement Group meeting begins in Patna (Bihar)
The two-day meeting of the G-20 Labour Engagement Group (LEG) began in Patna, Bihar today. Around 150 delegates from G-20 members and eight guest countries are participating in the meeting. Governor of Bihar, Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar inaugurated the meeting at Ashoka Convention Centre in Patna.
Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bhupendra Yadav and State Labour Resource Minister Surendra Ram also addressed the Inaugural session. The delegates will also deliberate on new employment opportunities and challenges in the G20 countries.
