Grand Orientation Session 2026–27 Promotes Education, Guidance, and Interfaith Harmony in Delhi
New Delhi, March 29, 2026: A Grand Orientation Session for the academic year 2026–27 was jointly hosted by Anglo Arabic Schools & Delhi College Old Boys’ Association and Anjuman Muhafiz-e-Auqaf Qom Tajran-e-Juft, Delhi, with support and sponsored from the Inter Faith Harmony Foundation of India, New Delhi at Karimia School, Jama Masjid Area, Delhi
A key highlight of the programme was the announcement of free crash course classes for CUET and free coaching for students from Class IX to XI, along with counselling sessions to help students make informed academic and career choices.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed, noted Islamic scholar and Founder President of the Inter Faith Harmony Foundation of India, highlighted the importance of unity and dialogue in today’s world. He remarked, “Education and harmony must go hand in hand. When we educate our youth with values of mutual respect and understanding, we lay the foundation for a peaceful and progressive nation.”
He also appreciated the collective efforts of the organisations involved, stating that such programmes not only uplift students academically but also strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and coexistence.
Prof. Aslam Pervez, Former Vice Chancellor of MANUU, spoke about the transformative role of education in society. He said, “Education is all about shaping minds, building character, and preparing young individuals to contribute meaningfully to society. Such initiatives ensure that no deserving student is left behind due to lack of resources.”
He further emphasised that guidance at the right stage can change the entire direction of a student’s life and appreciated the organisers for creating such an inclusive platform.
