United States has consistently undermined global peace through its aggressive policies, and its presence in the Middle East has become a source of instability rather than a solution: Maulana Mahmood Madni
New Delhi, 23 June 2025: Maulana Mahmood Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has strongly condemned the recent US airstrike on Iran, describing it as a blatant violation of international treaties and the Charter of the United Nations.
He stated that Israel has become the epicenter of violence and terrorism in the Middle East, enjoying full support from the United States.
Maulana Madani said that the United States has consistently undermined global peace through its aggressive policies, and its presence in the Middle East has become a source of instability rather than a solution.
He stressed that lasting peace in the region cannot be achieved unless Middle East countries unite and collectively work to remove American military bases from their soil.
Failing this, the region will continue to fall prey to destructive conspiracies, as seen in the past with Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. Now, the same sinister pattern is being repeated against Iran.
He further stated that no powerful country has the right to commit acts of aggression in any part of the world simply because of its military dominance.
Such actions are not only violations of international law but also fuel global distrust, hatred, and instability. All nations must uphold the universally accepted principles of humanity.
Any act that targets innocent lives, violates human rights, and threatens global peace must be condemned in the strongest terms—and must be met with real action, not just symbolic gestures.
Maulana Madani called on the international community, the United Nations, justice-loving nations, and all peace-seeking groups to take immediate and serious notice of the situation.
He urged them to prioritize efforts for de-escalation and ceasefire, and to take collective action to hold accountable those powerful forces—particularly Israel—that continue to commit crimes against humanity.
