Dubai : ASSOCIATION FOR ASIA PACIFC UNION (AAPU) UAE Chapter organised the international conference on Sustainable Development in Asia & Asia Pacific for Peace & Prosperity, focusing on Climate Change, Culture Connect & Health at India club Dubai last days .
This was the first overseas Hybrid Conference of AAPU at Dubai (UAE) and the 2nd one will be held at Sydney (Australia) in Aug, 2025. The Conference was attended by 34 participants including participants from USA, Australia & India.
Bringing together a diverse array of dignitaries, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and CEOs, this high-profile conference addressed some of the most pressing issues facing Asia & Asia-Pacific region.
The rapid acceleration of Climate Change and the inadequacy of governmental response remain at the forefront of global concern. Despite the 2015 Paris Conference on Climate Change and 29 COPs, the results are dismal.
The developed countries have failed to provide Funds and Technologies to developing countries for Sustainable Development and containing Climate Change ill effects within the agreed limits.
The only option left for all developing countries is to “UNITE AND SHARE EXPERTISE, EXPERIENCE, KNOWHOW AND RESOURCES TO BECOME SELF RELIANT.”
President (AAPU) Mr JS Saluja delivered the Keynote address and Dr Sandeep Marwah was the Chief Guest at the conference.
