Jamiat Youth Club hosts Bharat Scouts and Guides

Dedicate your life to the betterment of society: JUH presiden

New Delhi, November 23, 2024: commemorating the 75th Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Jamiat Youth Club hosted a spectacular three-day event at the Madani Youth Center in Kendki, Deoband.

The gathering brought together 813 Scouts and Guides from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Mewat, including 104 women participants who also showcased their talents and creativity.

The event included a variety of competitions and exhibitions designed to test and display practical skills. Highlights included map reading, color identification, distance and height estimation, tent pitching, march-pasts, first aid, physical displays, camp crafting, and campfire demonstrations.

The closing ceremony was attended by Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani (President, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind), Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi (General Secretary), Harjinder Singh (STC, Northern Railway), Mohammed Yameen (Northern Railway), Kapil Kumar (ALT, Northern Railway), and senior representatives from both Jamiat and Bharat Scouts and Guides.
*In his keynote address, Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani* described the youth as the backbone of the nation and community.

He urged them to rise to the challenges of the times with determination and a sense of purpose.”A strong youth ensures a strong community,” he said. “Your character, strength, and capabilities should be directed toward becoming exemplary individuals who inspire others.

This is a time to embrace opportunities and overcome challenges by improving your thoughts, actions, and character.”

He emphasized education as the cornerstone of progress and called on parents to prioritize their children’s holistic development. Reflecting on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Maulana Madani stressed the importance of dedicating life to serving others and shouldering collective societal responsibilities.

Addressing the female participants specifically, he encouraged them to pursue knowledge, realize their potential, and contribute actively to the betterment of society.

Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi also lauded the enthusiasm of the participants and called for channeling their energy into community service and nation-building. Representatives from Bharat Scouts and Guides commended the event’s high standards and acknowledged Jamiat Youth Club’s key role in promoting youth development.

Jamiat Youth Club Amroha clinched the first position, followed by Hapur and Muzaffarnagar in second and third places, respectively.Hafiz Obaidullah and Muhammad Rizwan from Jamiat Youth Club Varanasi were honoured with shields for their exceptional contributions.The winners were awarded mementos and certificates by JUH leaders.

Qari Ahmed Abdullah Rasoolpuri, Secretary of Jamiat Youth Club, reported that the organization is operational in 37 districts and has trained over 28,000 youth to date. For this event, participants were divided into 84 tents across seven zones, named after iconic personalities. The event’s success reflected the tireless dedication of Jamiat Youth Club staff and volunteers. Convenor Zeheen Ahmad Madani, Secretary of Jamiat Ulama Uttar Pradesh, acknowledged the contributions of 28 staff members and many volunteers, extending special congratulations to DOC Saleem Tyagi and Ashkara Khatoon for their outstanding efforts.
