A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter Scale hit the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border on Sunday. The epicentre of the quake was in the Hindu Kush mountain range, according to reports. The tremors were felt in many parts of north India, including Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar. Tremors were also felt in Islamabad and other parts of northern Pakistan. There is no reports of any casualties or damage to property yet.
