Govt to hold next round of talks with farmer leaders on Sunday
The next round of talks between the government and the protesting farm leaders will take place on Sunday. Speaking to the media, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said, the discussions so far have been very productive.
The third round of talks between the Central government and the leaders of the protesting farm leaders ended in the wee hours today. The talks lasted for five hours approximately. Union Minister Arjun Munda said the discussion with farmers was held in a positive atmosphere. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who also attended the meeting, said that the talks were held in a cordial atmosphere and he is hopeful of finding a solution to end the deadlock.
