JUH and Sheikhul Hind Trust hands over 1000 PPE Kits to Lok Nayaka Hospital

 Health professionals doing commendable job in covid-19 battle: Maulana Mahmood Madani

Delhi July 10/Press Release JUH : In a goodwill gesture to the healthcare workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic, the Largest Indian Muslim organization: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind and Shaikhul Hind Charitable Trust have manufactured over 1000 Personal Protective Equipment kits (PPE) for them. These PPE kits were today handed over to Director of Lok Nayak Hospital located at Delhi gate, New Delhi. The hospital administrator appreciated this grand gesture of these organizations saying it will boost the morale and spirit of the health workers.

  A delegation of JUH leaders presented the PPE kits included Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi, Maulana Ghayyur Qasmi, Maulana Qari Arif Qasmi, Anwer Hussain and Maulana Azeemullah Qasmi. The hospital administrator appreciated this grand gesture of Jamiatsaying it will boost the morale and spirit of the health workers.

 On this occasion, in his message, Maulana Mahmood Madani, General Secretary of JamiatUlama-i-Hind and the spirit behind this movement, has paid rich   tributes to the health professionals who are in the frontline in the fight against Covid-19 risking their lives. He also reiterated that in these trying times, the JUH will continue its service to the country and will make all efforts to boost the morale of the healthcare workers.

He underlined that it is a hallmark of India’s civilizations that in times of crisis, people from all sections come together to help each other.From day one, the JamiatUlama-i-Hind has been providing relief to the needy, raising public awareness on the medical front and boosting the confidence of healthcare workers and professionals, he added.  Currently we have launched Ambulance service and delivery of Free Oxygen Cylinders at home in Delhi for the COVID-19 patients.

 Expressing concern over the spike in Covid -19 cases, Maulana Mahmood Madani exhorted that people should join in the fight against this pandemic with resources and determination.Healthcare workers and professionals have become a shield for us in the fight against covid-19 and the Jamiat Ulama lauds services and sacrifices who are risking their lives for the fellow countrymen, he said. In recognition of healthcare professionals’ services, the Jamiat has presented this small gesture (PPE Kits).
