In Men’s Cricket, the first match of the three-match ODI series between India and England will be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, Maharashtra this afternoon.
The match will begin at 1:30 PM. Both sides will test their ODI performances before going into the Champions Trophy later this month.
India recently secured an emphatic 4-1 victory in the five-match T20 International series against the visitors.
Jos Butler’s led England team is largely similar to what they had picked for the T20 series. The hosts have experienced Rohit Sharma back as skipper and star batter Virat Kohli has also returned to the side.
Varun Chakravarthy has also been added to the Indian squad for the series. The Indian team will play their second match against England in Cuttack on Sunday. The third and final ODI will be played in Ahmedabad on the 12th of this month.
