भोपाल 25 नवंबर 2020। इंडियन जर्नलिस्टस यूनियन (आईजेयू) ने विभिन्न ट्रेड यूनियनों के हड़ताल के संयुक्त आव्हान का समर्थन किया है। साथ ही आईजेयू ने इन ट्रेड यूनियनों की मांगों का भी समर्थन किया है। जूम पर कल आयोजित बैठक में आईजेयू ने मोदी सरकार द्वारा समय समय पर उठाए गए विभिन्न श्रमिक विरोधी कदमों पर चिंता जाहिर की है। बैठक में प्रतिभागियों ने श्रमजीवी त्रकार अधिनियम समाप्त किए जाने पर भी निराशा व्यक्त की।
एल. एस. हरदेनिया, जो भोपाल से बैठक में शामिल हुए, ने बताया कि बैठक में देशद्रोह संबंधी कानूनों के दुरूपयोग पर भी चिंता जाहिर की और बताया गया कि पत्रकारों को भी इस कानून का निशाना बनाया जा रहा है।
Bhopal November 25, 2020. Indian Journalists Union (IJU) has supported the joint strike of various trade unions. The IJU also lent its support to the demands of the trade unions. The IJU at its zoom meeting held yesterday expressed the concern over the various anti-labour measures taken by the Modi government from time to time. The members also deplored the decision to scrap working journalist act.
According to L. S. Herdenia, who participated in the meeting from Bhopal IJU also deplored blatant misuse of the law pertaining to sedition.
The meeting noted that journalists are being targeted by the sedition law.
